The Enemy Within
December 30, 2010 by Jeff Gates · 12 Comments
The phrase “enemy within” brings to mind the image of a shadowy spy stealing military secrets. That was the case for Israeli master spy Jonathan Pollard jailed for 1980s espionage that compromised U.S. Cold War strategy.
That phrase also describes those involved in a form of psy-ops that is not easily detected because it operates so brazenly. For instance, the well-timed release of diplomatic cables by WikiLeaks displaced reports of Israeli obstinacy in peace talks with reports of a need for war with Iran.
That operation relied on editors at four major newspapers chosen by WikiLeaks to manage the releases. Despite the delight at their impact voiced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, mainstream media failed to mention the possibility of undisclosed bias by those who chose what to release and when.
The bias of The New York Times is well known. Less clear is the role of Ian Katz, Deputy Editor at The Guardian (London) and Executive Editor Sylvie Kauffman at Le Monde in Paris. The geopolitical success of the WikiLeaks operation suggests an enemy within.
Israeli duplicity often operates through what U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates describes as “the people in between.” When waging unconventional warfare, those people are the most dangerous combatants, particularly those operatives in mainstream media.
The People in Between
For systems of governance reliant on informed consent, nothing could be more perilous. The “people in between” routinely target media—freedom’s greatest vulnerability—as a means for displacing facts with what a targeted populace can be deceived to believe.
How old is this duplicity? How long have false beliefs been used to manipulate behavior? Modern technology—particularly media—enables deception on a global scale. Between the American populace and the facts they require to protect their freedom—that’s where this enemy within imbeds its operatives.
The false intelligence claiming Iraqi WMD was a people-in-between operation. Judith Miller at The New York Times fed us a steady diet of front-page news that we now know was fixed around Israeli goals promoted by Ahmad Chalabi, a London-based Iraqi expatriate who, like Israel, sought regime change in Iraq.
Pentagon insider Richard Perle developed Chalabi over two decades. A Jewish Zionist, Perle has long been a strategically well-placed “person in between.” Miller left The Times and joined Fox News and then Newsmax.
Yet the impact of complicit media pales in comparison to the enemy within that brought the U.S. economy to its knees and undermined national security at its financial core.
Imbedded Inside
The most devastating in this chronicle of enemies is the most difficult to see. As with other “in between” operations, this too succeeds by displacing facts with false beliefs. Only in this case, those beliefs were imbedded in education and over decades worked their way into law.
Known as the “Washington Consensus,” this widely shared perspective shapes economic policy worldwide. At the heart of this generally accepted truth is found the belief that money should be accountable only to itself.
In this mindset, financial freedom is an article of faith. Instead of the civil rights refrain, “Let my people go,” its proponents insist: “Let my money go.” Allow money the freedom to work its will worldwide and everything will work out fine.
That shared belief works “in between” in the same way that Jonathan Pollard undermined national security, WikiLeaks shifted attention to Iran and Judith Miller induced us to war in Iraq. Only in this case a false belief has been so thoroughly internalized that it’s difficult to see because this shared mindset has become that with which we have been educated to do our seeing.
A Global Sanhedrin
The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund are the primary apostles of this consensus faith. The World Trade Organization (WTO) now seeks to take this belief to global scale by enforcing unrestricted free trade not only in goods and services but also financial capital.
The WTO operates like a global Sanhedrin akin to a Jewish high council accountable only to itself. What’s now emerging as a global enemy within is a finance-guided form of transnational governance marketed as free trade but accountable only to itself.
That ‘self’ traces its origins to an internalized mindset in which financial freedom serves, by consensus, as a proxy for personal freedom. That mindset was decades in the making.
This modern-day Mindset Warfare is being waged by an enemy that is truly within. Fast globalizing financial forces now induce us to freely embrace the very forces that undermine our freedom.
By waging war on us from the inside out, the originators of this money-myopic mindset dismantled the U.S. economy, enabled vast financial pillaging and induced us to fiscal ruin.
Those wielding this weaponry operate from our internal shadows as the Zionist entity within.

Ny Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, The National Post, etc. are all anti-Muslim Jewish-owned Israeli propaganda organs. But they’re not the only ‘Enemy Within’. In fact the dual-citizen American Jews and the Evangelist leaders are the real American traitors as they’re more loyal to Israel than the US.

Jeff Gates, you’re utterly wrong to believe the IMF’s and the World Bank’s pious incantations in favor of “financial freedom” – like the self-styled “enemies of hate,” they’re in fact agents of the very thing they masquerade as opposing.
But far more-serious, you have conflated the agendas of various wolves (including “Washington” with its consensus) wrapping themselves in the sheep’s clothing of supporting free markets with the (unfortunately elusive) reality of free markets.
Thus, I find the resulting attacks on free-market ideology dismaying, as you confuse a true and valuable message with the evil agendas of the agencies that hijack it. It’s as though, upon debunking the US “mission” of spreading democracy in the Middle East, you then took out after democracy as such.

Mr. Potts,
a question. when and where have free markets every benefited anyone, any country, anywhere?
Once the globalists are able to hold us all captive, as if they didn’t already….
free markets ruined the economy of the local producers in Jamaica, my neighboring island. That is to say, ruined it for the poor farmers…thank you World Bank criminals.
I find that “dismaying”, don’t you?
And now with the S.510 hovering over our dinner table, growing locally produced food by small US farmers will be difficult, at best. we should eat locally; it makes economic sense.
I have no use for Chinese crap. which is what we now have here in the US.
And it will be so much worse, if possible, yes…it’s very possible, once they start finessing financial instruments as in One World Bank…sounds like the RFD chipping isn’t far behind. We want less control, not more, over our lives and freedoms – what tatters we have left of them.
Perhaps in an Ideal World, with men of honor at the helm, this would be viable..but we are not in a Utopian society. we are at the mercy (LOL) of the damn wolves, bankers, gnawing greedily at our carcasses.
Good Luck to you, Sir.

Marlene S. Jones:
What has benefited all people everywhere, at all times, and to the virtual exclusion of everything else, is not “free markets,” which don’t exist purely ANYWHERE, but the (partial, limited) freedom to participate in markets – that is, the opportunity to exchange goods and services (often through the intermediary of money) by which people live, thrive, and survive. Oppression (interference) always throttles and reduces this effect, called prosperity, and freedom (the relative absence of oppression) always improves it.
If Jamaica has experienced low or negative economic growth – if its people are poorer than you suppose they might have been under some other regime, please tell me just what should be (have been) different in Jamaica. I’m ignorant of how “free markets ruined the economy for the poor farmers,” but I’d love to hear the particulars from you. I’d also like to know what effects the same events had on the economies of the rest of the people of Jamaica (they count, too, don’t they?).
In MY ideal world, there would be no need for “men of honor” to man the helm.
There would BE no helm.

The “Global Sanhedrin” is the root cause.
NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE are talking about this. So glad you are Mr. Gates.
What I’ve noticed too is that the Anti-war and Truth movements have been largely failures, even though there is massive amounts of information available. So, its not the amount of information. I think Americans know a lot more of what’s going on then people give us credit for. something else is going on to keep the Anti-war movement “controlled” and ineffective.
I think what you write here in this article is probably the reason for the failure. There is a shadowy “people in between” that are busy on the internet infiltrating sites, disrupting discussions and basically diverting discussions AWAY from the main culprits. Sure, we got lots of troubles besides, but until this shadowy and sneaky aspect is stopped, we’re going to be stuck.
American has more activists than ANY country, yet there are entire websites devoted to only trashing American people, via their commenting logs.
The US has been the military arm of this global network. They have control of our congress, and anyone who thinks not just has to go to the time when Gaza was being bombed and Israeli Tpini zini (I can’t remember her name
was here in Washington. Then, they quickly made a bill called “supporting Israel” or something like that and almost every Congress person voted in favor of it. They supported Israel while the videos and thousands of eye witnesses in both Gaza and Israel proved White phosphorus was reigning down.
I have suspicions, though, that Israel Is NOT the real power mover of this structure. I think the core root lies exactly in the Financial halls of the institutions Jeff Gates mentions.
Also, it is interesting to note that the Federal Reserve used to be off limits in criticizing. That is all changing. Why? It must be that the US and its institutions are in the way of the Global domination. I see the Fed being replaced soon by a more all-encompassing international system.

I was also going to include a link to a blog I just put up which I am devoting to some of these aspects of operatives or whatever they are that gain control of website commenting logs and threads. I’ve seen some of the same people in several sites diverting attention. It’s really weird how they do it. It’s confusing and really subtle if you are not savvy to it. Because of my own gullibility I was targeted by a “gang” of them. I even got talked into moving into and email exchange which turned into heavy duty interrogation style weird stuff. I stuck it out because I wanted to find out what they were doing. I explain it in my blog. Please read. I probably sound crazy but its all true. I have reams of emails I have saved to disc…..
I didn’t name the website that I was writing about. I may later. I don’t know if I should. And I am not a great writer, but I feel that the Anti-war movement and Truth movement have done nothing really to make any changes even though “technically” it should have worked. I think a lot of people just don’t know who to trust.
Here is the blog with my experience.

The “root” is being exposed.
They think they will control the world through high tech, but it’s the technology of today that is exposing them.

Thanks for your comment. Agree that exposure is fast-emerging along with that most dreaded of all outcomes: accountability.

History will repeat itself and from great heights the jews will fall again and for the sam reasons; they are smart and hard working, that taked them to great power and influecr but do not really integrate into the host culture and at some point the host people bevome scared and act. What always has followed is aggresive anti semitism; expulsions, deprivation of rights, nazism are manifestations of the same cause which is just fear. The same fear jews have of being persecuted. In a cosmic ironi the fear of the jews about persecuted pushes jews to want to control which precisely causes the next wave of antisemitism. Much as i am proud of the many jewish accomplishments i have also resigned myself to the inevitability of cyclic antisemitism.

If they are ‘scared’ of persecution than you’d think the logical path would be to obey the laws of the land, be loyal to the country in which you reside etc.etc…
Control though subterfuge and corruption of the political process for the purpose of benefiting only the Jewish community – i.e “is it good for the Jews” – is not the way to endear yourself after a history of persecution, often for those very reasons. What is ‘good for the Jews’ most often is NOT good at all for the rest of the population. Continuing to pursue this simple agenda – with the idea that any and all forms of criminality are justified if they serve this very linear motive – has a way of opening up Judism to legtimate inspection of it’s character and religious teachings. And unfortunately, its is difficult not to draw a link between the behavior of organized Jewry(almost exclusively Zionist at the moment) and Judaic dogma and doctrine.
What is needed is the Jewish community to actively and openly oppose the facist policies of Israel. And, again unfortunately, people in western democracies are not seeing that on a signifcant level.
Quite the opposite, in my humble opinion…

On April 13, 2011 – Dr. Robert Satloff, executive director Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP) gave his testimony to the Congressional Subcommittee in which he called for Obama administration to block the Islamist and semi-Islamist groups (Muslim Brotherhood, Gamaa Islamiya, Al-Jihad, Wasat Party and US-Saudi funded sectarian Salafist movement).
Robert Satloff told the ‘Israel-First’ US lawmakers that if some of these groups win parliamentary seats in the coming September 2011 election – they will shift future Egyptian foreign policy away from US and Israel. This may not effect much to the American interests in the Middle East – but Israel could lose its gas supply from Egypt which is subsidized by Cairo and has cost US$80 billion to Egyptian taxpayers so far. Israel’s other fears include Cairo’s opening of border with Gaza, stop policing of Sinai, developing friendly relations with Iran. Hizbullah and Hamas, opening of Suez Canal for Iranian military and commercial shipping and putting some additional demands to keep the current Israel-Egypt peace treaty.
WINEP is a Zionist Hasbara (propaganda) think tank of Israel Lobby (AIPAC). It’s also closely associated with Tel Aviv University’s Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies, and was long headed by General Aharon Yariv, who had previously served as both an Israeli government minister and as head of Israeli intelligence. WINEP’s membership includes pro-Israeli American Jews, including Satloff. Dr. Satloff held a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabli al-Arabi on April 5. Al-Arabi was appointed by the pro-US military junta in early March 2011.
Dr. Gamal Abdel Gawad, an expert on international relations at Al Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, ruled out the possibility that Egypt will be similar to the Iranian model of governance, saying: “Egypt is like Turkey in terms of its relations with the US and the Zionist entity”. He also added that America will not find it difficult to cope with the Freedom and Justice party, representatives of the MB, or any other Islamic forces in parliament or in government, in light of what the MB are submitting, which seeks national economic political and social harmony.
