A very interesting piece. I offer my two cents worth: Mr. Rafsanjani wants in The Private Credit Monopoly, aka the IMF/World Bank.  As you know, only the &quot;approved&quot; powers get to play and profit in this exculsive organization -- anyone who&#039;s been able to make their &quot;democratic&quot; country their personal possession for all practical purposes, gets a place at the poker table.
Mr. Rafsanjani wants in and the good ol&#039; boys want to ensure he doesn&#039;t have the power to muscle his way in there.
Bottom line: It&#039;s only business.</description>
